Board of Governors

The Board of Governors is the legal governing body of the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM). The Board defines the overall strategy and strategic direction, taking into account the performance of day-to-day management as well as external factors. The Board of Governors meets at least four times a year. With the exception of the executive director and the general manager, all Board members are independent of ITM. They appoint a chair and a vice-chair from among their members.
