Scabies study

Have you had scabies in the past twelve months? Then you can take part in our scabies study.

About the study

ITM and Sciensano are investigating the increasing number of scabies infections in Flanders. There has been a significant increase in the number of cases over the past decade, with a particularly sharp increase in the last five years. In this study, we want to better understand why scabies is becoming more common in Flanders and learn how people with scabies access care, as well as the challenges associated with diagnosis and treatment.
