Test2Know (T2K)

Test2Know (T2K) is an innovative online platform for people who have been at risk for HIV or another sexually transmitted infection (STI, formerly known as STD) but have no symptoms. With T2K, you can test yourself at home in complete privacy. If your result is positive, a healthcare provider will contact you for further guidance and care.

Who is eligible?

• You have recently been at risk for HIV or another sexually transmitted infection and have no symptoms.

• You live in Flanders.

• You are not taking PrEP.

What do you need to do?

1. Fill out the questionnaire at www.test2know.be.

Your answers will determine which infections you'll be tested for and which samples you need to provide.

2. Register.

If you agree, you'll need to create a profile and provide the address where we should send your test kit. All information is handled confidentially.

3. Order your personal test kit.

The cost of the test kit covers the sampling materials and transport.
The price of a test kit is €30.

4. We send your test kit.

After payment, you'll receive a confirmation email, and we'll process your order. You'll receive your package within four to seven working days.

5. Activate your test kit.

Once you receive the package, activate it and follow the instructions. View the instructions here

After collecting your samples, it's important to return the package as soon as possible. It fits easily into a Red Mailbox. As soon as we receive your package, we'll notify you.

6. Check your results.

It may take up to seven working days to receive your results. We'll notify you by email when they are available.

• If your results are negative, you can view them on the platform.

• If you test positive for any infection, a healthcare provider will contact you for further care and treatment.
