About this event

We are pleased to invite nurses, physicians and virologists to the long-acting CAB/RPV symposium—an evening session (accreditation requested) exploring the evolving landscape of HIV care.

The symposium highlights the essential role of nursing experience in implementing long-acting therapies, alongside the contributions of virology in understanding viral dynamics, resistance and treatment durability. Through shared insights and practical perspectives, we will explore how care pathways are already evolving—and how multidisciplinary collaboration will shape the future of HIV treatment.

The programme brings together clinical expertise, virological insight and real-world experience. Expect interactive discussions on implementation, patient-centred care, and the opportunities and challenges of long-acting CAB/RPV in routine practice.

This event is hosted at ITM and moderated by ITM and UZ Gent.

Join us for an engaging exchange of ideas on advancing high-quality, sustainable HIV care.
