Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the walls of the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp? You may have visited our clinic for travel advice, vaccinations or testing, but that is only the tip of the ITM iceberg.

Wonder no more! In 2026, we celebrate a very special milestone: our 120th anniversary. To mark the occasion, we are opening our doors and inviting you inside our iconic buildings in the heart of Antwerp. Discover science up close, see innovation in action, and meet the experts that are working on the global health challenges of today and tomorrow.

Our doors are open on Sunday 31 May from 10am to 5pm, so if you are in the neighborhood and would like to take a peek, come and explore!
