Paediatrician and health systems and implementation science researcher with over 15 years of experience in several clinical and health services studies, which have contributed to building evidenced-based guidelines and policies in Kenya and globally. Conducted high-level policy engagement sessions with stakeholders from multiple high and lower income countries, led teams from diverse cultural settings, and overseen budgets worth several million USD. Current research spans the adoption, use and abandonment of novel technologies and innovations (including digital health technologies and diagnostics) and their intersection with service delivery in hospitals in low resource settings, with a focus on vulnerable populations and a life course approach.
