Activities
1. Become a virus, bacterium or parasite and invade the human body
Ever dreamed of exploring the human body from the inside? Now's your chance!
Step into the shoes of a virus, bacterium or parasite and try to sneak into the body undetected. But beware: a trained immune system is on guard. Slurping soldiers, sticky traps and smart seekers are all trying to stop you.
Can you outsmart the antibody brigade?
2. Become a disease-fighting soldier and take on sleeping sickness
In parts of Africa, a nasty parasite makes people so tired they fall asleep anywhere. Time to take action! Put on your lab coat, analyse a mysterious patient file, and perform a real blood test: the CATT test.
Can you tell whether the patient has sleeping sickness or just a cold? Ready to become a doctor-soldier?

How to get there?
Nerdland Festival takes place at the Provincial Domain Puyenbroeck in Wachtebeke (East Flanders). The best ways to reach the festival are by bike, public transport, the Station Shuttle (a shuttle bus from the station), or the City Shuttle.

Tickets are available per day or as a combo via the Nerdland Festival website. Don't wait too long, as previous editions sold out every time!
