Visit Campus Rochus on Open Garden Day 2024

Campus Rochus: a hidden gem
Originally laid out by Carthusian monks in the 17th century, the beautiful monastery garden of Campus Rochus has a rich history. In 1834, Capuchin nuns took residence into the monastery complex. When the last two sisters retired in 2001, they generously sold the monastery to ITM at a favourable price. Today, more than 20 years later, the garden remains a concealed jewel in the city, featuring the original shrubs and trees planted by the nuns.
During Open Garden Day, you have the unique opportunity to explore four beautiful historic courtyard gardens in the heart of Antwerp. Besides the monastery garden of Campus Rochus, you can also visit the redesigned garden of the renovated Rubens House, the monastery garden Hortus Conclusus at Mechelseplein, and the Court Chamber of the Oude Beurs. Be enchanted by Antwerp's green treasures on Open Garden Day 2024!
