Open Garden Day with a mysterious twist

On Sunday 25 May, we're opening the gates to our historic gardens for curious visitors on the occasion of Open Garden Day, an initiative by Landelijke Gilden. Join us as we uncover the story behind the mysterious water basin in front of the clinic, or take a seat in the greenery of the monastery garden and listen to our award-winning podcast Transmission (in English).

Experience Open Garden Day at ITM, where mystery, science, and nature intertwine.

1. The mystery of the water basin

At the entrance of our Polyclinic (entrance via Kronenburgstraat 43) lies an old pond that has slowly faded into obscurity. Few people know exactly why it was ever built. Was it a technical system? An aesthetic gesture? Or a stroke of genius by the architects?

During Open Garden Day, we’re excited to share the beginnings of our investigation with you. We'll take you into the mystery and show you where we are in our search. Who knows... Maybe you'll help us get a step closer to the answer?

2. Listening in the greenery

There's also something to discover in the monastery garden of Campus Rochus (entrance via Sint-Rochusstraat 43). There, you can relax and listen to Transmission, our award-winning podcast about science, health, and the stories behind our research.

We look forward to welcoming you in one of our beautiful gardens!

Practical
