If you returned from the tropics with a medical question or your doctor referred you to us, we offer the following services.
Post-travel consultation
ITM provides world-class medical care in the domain of tropical infectious diseases. With over a century of experience in the treatment of tropical diseases, our medical services are nationally and internationally recognised.
Blood tests
If a blood test is required after examination by one of our specialists in tropical medicine, your blood will be sampled and sent to one of our reference laboratories. More information about blood tests
Hospitalisations
We are an outpatient clinic and do not admit patients for stay. Should hospitalisation be necessary, we will refer you to the Antwerp University Hospital and monitor your case.
Emergencies
ITM is open during business hours only. Take a look at our guidelines if you need urgent medical assistance.

If you wish to see one of our medical experts for medical advice after travelling abroad, you have to make an appointment beforehand.
