Medical travel consultation before your travels
During a pre-travel consultation, you will be informed of the best way to protect yourself against diseases prevalent at your country of destination. This examination depends on your destination, your current state of health, and the nature of the trip. The doctor might suggest measures such as vaccination, preventive medication or emergency treatment to take along with you. Multiple appointments might be necessary.
Yellow fever vaccination centres
You can get a yellow fever vaccine at ITM or any other yellow fever vaccination centre. You cannot buy a yellow fever vaccine at your pharmacy to be administered by your GP.
Make an appointment
Consultations are by appointment only. Make sure to book your appointment at least six weeks in advance, as waiting times can be long in spring and summer. Always bring your vaccination records and medication list with you.
