Book Launch: Institute of Tropical Medicine - From specialist school to world-class institution

The book highlights the rich history of the Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM), which celebrates its 120th anniversary this year, and illustrates how ITM evolved from a school of tropical medicine into an internationally renowned global institution.

The afternoon will begin with a welcome address by the director, Dr. Özge Tunçalp, followed by a conversation with author and ITM physician Ludwig Apers, a moderated panel discussion, and brief commentaries on a selection of images from the book.

We will conclude with a reception starting at 5pm.

There will be an opportunity to purchase the book and have it signed by the author.
