Honorary titles awarded by ITM
Recognising excellence
The Institute of Tropical Medicine works closely with leading scientists and academics from institutions around the world; people with a clear, profound and ongoing commitment to our mission and vision. In addition to our institutional partnerships, we give recognition to individual academics and scientists to foster current and future collaborations. This recognition of excellence reinforces our ambition to be a vibrant, open and global campus.
We award honorary titles in recognition of collaborations with (inter)national scientists and academics. These honorary titles are awarded for a period of three years, with the possibility of one extension. The department heads of ITM nominate the candidates, after which the Management Committee reviews the applications for honorary titles twice a year.
