Expert workshop series: Migration, (Im)mobility, and Global Health
Welcome to our bi-monthly workshop series on Migration, (Im)mobility, and Global Health, an initiative of the Health Systems and Health Policy and Sexual and Reproductive Health research groups of ITM. Our purpose is to unite researchers to explore the complexities of health issues among migrant and mobile populations globally. These workshops intend to foster dialogue, skill-sharing, and collaboration opportunities among experts in the field.
What can you expect?
The workshops feature seminars and interactive sessions led by both internal and external speakers. With a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours, each session alternates between ITM and external venues, to cover a diverse range of perspectives.
We cover various topics, including empirical research, data analysis, policy context, and theoretical frameworks. Moreover, we emphasise interactive learning components and skill-building activities to enhance participants' understanding and practical application.
For whom?
We welcome everyone with valuable insights and expertise in research with migrant populations or other mobile groups to contribute to our future workshops. Your unique perspective and contributions will enrich our discussions and broaden our collective understanding.
Interested to join us?
To participate in a workshop, please sign up through the form on the event page of the workshop you are interested in. Each workshop is limited to 20 participants (first come, first serve).
We value your input and look forward to collaborating with you to advance knowledge and practices in this crucial area of global health.
We hope to see you at one of our upcoming workshops!
