She currently works as a full professor at the Faculty of Science and Philosophy (FACIE) at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH). In this webinar, Dionicia will talk about her study and career trajectory in research, science and academics, while also shedding some light on the current situation of ‘Women in Science’ in Peru. Moreover, Dionicia will also talk about the important role of mentors and institutional support in a scientific career.

Her personal experience and presentation will serve as the starting point for an exchange and discussion on the challenges she has been facing as a woman in science along the way.
