I am a mixed-methods scientist and pediatric nurse, with expertise in neonatal and child health, including nutrition. I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Tropical Medicine & Honorary Assistant Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM, UK). I have a PhD in Nutrition and Environment (University of Leeds, UK), MSc in Global Health (University of Southampton, UK) & Anthropology (University of Bologna, Italy), Diploma in Tropical Nursing (LSHTM, UK), and BSc in Pediatric Nursing.
Previously, I worked in clinical trials and implementation research at LSHTM. Also, I have been working with Epicentre/Médecins Sans Frontières since 2019, and conducted formative research and evaluations, mostly for maternal and child health projects (including malnutrition, TB, malaria, mental health, intensive care). I worked clinically and as a research nurse in high and low income countries, especially in neonatal and pediatric intensive care from 2010 to 2019.
