Thao-Thy Pham has finalized her PhD in malaria immunology at the Rega Institute for Medical Research (KU Leuven, Belgium) in 2020, and continued her academic career in parasite immunology in the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp. Currently, as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Clinical Immunology unit, she is leading the Spatial CL study (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT05332093), wherein they investigate the parasite, and the immune and metabolic environment in the clinical spectra of Ethiopian Cutaneous Leishmaniasis.
